Reflexology cannot cure serious health conditions, and as a practitioner, I will never diagnose you with one. Reflexology is used to support a variety of issues; sleep, hormonal health, fertility, chronic illness and stress-related issues, gut health, anxiety and depression. It is by no means limited to this list, but these seem to be the most common concerns that come up with my clients.

In a (very small) nutshell, reflexology can:
-
Regulate the nervous system through therapeutic touch in a safe and held environment.
-
Encourage connection to the body and support healing.
-
Increase circulation and encourage lymph drainage.

Reflexology is holistic therapy and in sessions, I may offer lifestyle suggestions which could include referrals to other practitioners, aspects of diet, movement or stress management techniques to ensure that there is a multi-faceted approach to healing. Sometimes, gentle suggestions weaved throughout treatments can be the most beneficial; they can be as simple and accessible as setting daily reminders to breathe, drinking more water or walking barefoot in nature.

My aim is to support you be an advocate on your own health journey, taking a more active and engaged stance.
Reflexology can be used safely as a support alongside allopathic healthcare.

This will ensure that the treatment plan is specifically tailored to your needs. All information taken will remain confidential. All sessions onwards will then be 50 minutes long.
If you are late, the treatment will finish at the originally agreed upon time and sessions will not be extended.

Wear comfortable clothing - I would recommend not wearing a skirt as feet need to be hip width apart. You will remain fully clothed throughout the session with shoes and socks being removed. Please ensure feet are cleaned before arriving.
